COUSINS were once Halifax’s best rock band, but they have since become one of Canada’s must-see acts. Period. Mixing garage rock with sophisticated songwriting, COUSINS pack a powerful and dynamic live show and continue to blow away unsuspecting audiences. True tone dogs, COUSINS released 2014’s The Halls of Wickwire and it’s been spinning on our record players ever since.

Local haunted brilliance. Ethereal vocals over thumping baroque blues, Textures, moods, and rock ‘n roll perfection.

It’s ok, Guelph. Our kings, our queens, our jesters – our royalty – is back. We missed them too.

JOYFULTALK:
Crousetown, Nova Scotia’s Jay Crocker has been involved in a lot of great projects – Ghostkeeper, Jon Mckiel, NoMoreShapes – and JOYFULTALK is, no doubt, among his greatest accomplishments. With his affecting new record, MUUIXX, dropping on Jesse Zubot’s Drip Audio at the end of may, we fully expect JOYFULTALK to finally get the recognition it deserves. Come be mesmerized.
