Kazoo! #217: NOAH23 / PETRA GLYNT / MELVILLE + DJ CHADILLAC – Oct. 23rd @ eBar
NOAH23
Guelph’s own international hip hop phenomenon and synchromystic technoshaman is back in Guelph for a rare appearance after moving to California earlier this year. Noah23 has been rapping since the mid 90s, bringing his unique brand of abstract genre-hopping hip hop to audiences around the world. The Guelph oracle returns!
PETRA GLYNT:
Petra Glynt is the dreamy, operatic, synth-based alter ego of Toronto-based artist and musician Alexandra MacKenzie. Cutting her teeth as a vocalist and creatrix with punk trance bands Pachamama and Dentata, Petra Glynt is MacKenzie’s solo project, drawing on both her wizardly mastery of looping electronics and her intense alto vibrato that drips with neon and flickers with her deeply textured atmospheric sound.
MELVILLE:
Hailing from the valley town of Dundas, Ontario, Melville is an electronic producer making textured hip hop inspired beats. Melville is a mysterious figure who will be making his first appearance in Guelph.
+ DJ Chadillac before, between sets, and after.
Friday October 23rd @ eBar (41 Quebec St.)
