Kazoo! #145SLIM TWIG:
Slim Twig is a shape-shifting performer and song-sculptor based in Toronto. His artistic vision is born from a twisted landscape of pop and experimental music and avant-garde film. Slim Twig has become known for “Suicide-drenched, art-damaged country tunes” that combine rockabilly swagger and post punk energy.

LEGATO VIPERS:
Legato Vipers are Shadowy Men inspired noisy surf rock playing their debut Guelph show. Songs by Brooks and Belluz. Guitars and Bass by Jordan Howard. Drums by AJ Johnson. Recordings by Don Pyle. Guitars and Bass by Mike Brooks and Tyler Belluz

U.S. GIRLS:
U.S. Girls is the creative force of a lone American woman, Meghan Remy. For the past four years she has pursued her minimalist aesthetic with a militant by-any-means-necessary attitude, merging experimental compositions tracked on borrowed four track recorders with her distinctive photocopy-art visual aesthetic. At this show, U.S. Girls will be backed by Slim Twig whose combination of reverence for and divergence from classic pop tropes matches her own.

BASEBALL FURIES:
Playing soul-inspired surf rock with a touch of rockabilly, the Furies take their scrapping seriously. Playing a flurry of shows in the first few months of existence, their live shows are a sloppy mess of fun. An estrogen-heavy four piece, Baseball Furies play the kind of rhythmic garage rock that makes you want to dance like David Byrne at a zombie carnival.
