Gregory Pepper has gotten some serious praise for his unique approach to pop music, pairing catchy melodies with morose subject matter and quirky production. He recently adopted the “Common Grackle” moniker for this experimental hip-hop project which has now mutated into a boisterous rockabilly freak-out. Hopeless optimism with a distinct country twang, this is where indie pop takes an unexpected detour through Nashville.
BASEBALL FURIES:
One of Guelph’s newest bands, Baseball Furies, are playing their debut venue show. With their scrappy surf garage rock jams they are sure to get the party started.
