Visual Arts & Multimedia Lineup announced!
We’re excited to share details about our lineup of exhibitions, screenings, and performances happening during Kazoo! from April 6-10, 2016.
Our 2016 visual arts and multimedia lineup will include: Wendy’s Closet an exhibition by Walter Scott, Detective Vanilla (exhibition) & Yoga Baby (performance) from Jesi the Younger, and the return of TrinkeTron by Ryan Cassidy in it’s upgraded 6750 series.
The program will also feature a solo exhibition called ‘I grew up in the 90’s and now my brain is mush’ by Gregory Pepper and a window exhibition entitled COURTYARD by local collective SADSADDERDAYZ.
The weekend festivities will also include two film screenings on Jenny Mitchell’s Golden Bus: Brother Frank Directed by Iris Fraser & Bugs Directed by Life of a Craphead. And that’s not all, we’ll be kicking the whole week off with two amazing multimedia performances from Clara Venice and a brand-new project called Know Your Neighbours (Jenny Mitchell, Devon Kerslake, Scott Haynes, and Curtis Walker) commissioned as part of the Look Hear Micro-Grant.
Thanks to our wonderful friends at Ed Video Media Arts Centre who are co-presenting this year’s visual arts and multimedia program. What a great line up of artists! Get ready, Guelph
