Summer Co-Presentations & Fresh Directions

Hope you’re having an amazing summer so far! Since late June we’ve been on a bit of a summer hiatus, enjoying summertime in Guelph and making plans for the future of Kazoo! We’ve added some new faces to the Kazoo! team as we said goodbye to longtime Kazoo! collaborator Eihab Boraie. We wish Eihab all the best on his adventures living in Egypt!

While we’re not booking any shows until the end of August, we’re teaming up with some like-minded festivals and promoters to co-present some incredible shows. We’re teaming up with Fortnight Music and almost everyone else who does awesome stuff in Guelph to present Summer Herd, an annual coming together for Guelph’s music community happening on July 25th and features sets from some local pals including Gregory Pepper, The Magic (Duo), and Alanna Gurr. It’s going to be a great night.

We’re also working with the good people at Mudtown Music & Arts Festival happening August 10th & 11th to co-present a set by Kazoo! favourite Shotgun Jimmie. You should check out the great line-up at Mudtown and keep an eye on this awesome new festival!

Of course there’s so many other amazing festivals and stuff happening this summer including the annual ALL CAPS! Island Fest in Toronto put on by our longtime collaboraters Wavelength happening August 10-11th. And then there’s the always mindblowing spectacle that is Electric Eclectics happening August 2-4th in Meaford, ON.

We’ll be making some exciting announcements in about 2-3 weeks about some wild fall plans but for now, get out there and enjoy the summer!
