Kazoo! Pocket GuidesIt’s hard to believe we’re less than 3 weeks away from Kazoo! Fest 2014. The Kazoo! crew have been busy putting the final touches on our Kazoo! Fest Pocket Guides, the 36 page mini-book includes bios of every act playing at the festival, details about visual art and multimedia projects, a full schedule and a handy fold out map. Look for them at locations across the city!

Crony Pass, the all-access Kazoo! Fest 2014 pass went on sale this morning at The Bookshelf (41 Quebec St.) for $40. These are very limited and are only available in person, so get them while you can. We’re also selling advance tickets for Destroyer (solo) and Bry Webb at Dublin St. United Church, you can get these online via Music Lives or in person at The Bookshelf. Every other show at the festival will only have tickets available at the door.

And maybe we’re crazy but we’ve booked two incredible shows the weekend after Kazoo! Fest. On Friday April 18th we’re hosting Vancouver’s Ladyhawk with Marine Dreams and Dutch Toko at eBar, you can find advance tickets here. The following night, we’re honoured to present an intimate show with Mount Eerie and Wyrd Visions playing in the beautiful Guelph Black Heritage Society. This show is limited to 85 tickets which are on sale now via Music Lives, so get them before they’re gone.

We’ve been having fun with our ongoing ‘Why This Rules’ blog series which has so far featured Nihilist Spasm Band and Cousins. We’ll have more on the way soon! And be sure to check out our ongoing Kazoo! Fest Podcast Series for feature interviews and exclusive tracks from artists performing at Kazoo! Fest 2014.

Bring on the spring!
