Kazoo! Fest 2017 Schedule, Visual Art Details, and Tickets Announced!

 In Uncategorized

Start making plans! Kazoo! Fest 2017 is just over a month away and we’ve announced our full festival schedule including details about our visual arts program and tickets.

This year we’re taking over downtown Guelph with 24 events happening over 5 days. You’re going to want to be everywhere at once, so we suggest you do your homeworkgrab a Crony Pass, and get ready for Kazoo! Fest 2017.

At the heart of Kazoo! Fest this year, will be our pop-up warehouse Kazoo! HQ which will be host to a series of visual art exhibitions and performances co-presented with Ed Video. At Kazoo! HQ we’ll be hosting Present Rituals, a group exhibition featuring work from Hazel Hill McCarthy III, Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, FASTWÜRMS, Alejandro Garcia Contreras, and more. We’ll also be hosting a pair of screenings, the debut of the Look Hear Micro-Grant project ‘FEED’, and a series of afternoon experimental music sets co-presented with CHANNEL. Our visual arts program will also include Renders, an exhibition of 3D digital imagery and video loops by emerging Guelph artist Eden Segal-Grossman at Guelph’s smallest Gallery, Capacity 3.

We’re still looking for volunteers, so please consider helping us out, and in exchange getting into some shows for free. And thanks to our amazing funders, local business partners, and co-presenters who help make this all possible.

So check out the schedule, grab a Crony Pass or an advance ticket for Constantines or Jessy Lanza, and get ready for Kazoo! Fest 2017.
