Kazoo! Fest 2016: Friday Preview

Ready for the weekend?

Up first at 4pm, we have a special set from Guelph’s own Elaquent, as well as a DJ set from $ensi Bo¥ at Planet Bean (downtown). Around the same time, Outpost Vintage has a rad opening for the art collective, SADSADDERDAZE with a surprise show from BART and Baby Labour.

Our friends at CFRU 93.3 FM are helping us co-present two of the best performers in Canada, Chad VanGaalen and Fiver at Dublin Street United Church while our buds at Incline/Decline are helping co-present Gambletron, Not the Wind, Not the Flag and Natural Thirst at Silence, which will feature visuals from Peter Rahul.

So much stuff, right? Well, there is tons more.

We are proud to present the second edition of Short&Sweet in co-presentation with Guelph Dance and Wants&Needs at The Making Box which will be rounded out by a killer DJ set from DJ PõNYPõNYPõNY. The eBar marks the return of Bonjay (co-presented with Riverfest Elora), Noah23 (replacing Above Top Secret) and Hamilton’s best kept secret, Haolin Munk. The show will feature with live visuals by VERSA!

If that’s not enough, head to the Jimmy Jazz where it will get loud with one of Guelph’s best bands, VIDA, Toronto-via-Sackville’s Protruders (formerly Kappa Chow) and Toronto’s Idee Fixe sweethearts, BART.
