Kazoo #235

WEIRD LINES:
A five-headed beast made up of Julie Doiron, C.L. McLaughlin, Jon McKiel, James Anderson and Chris Meaney has been unleashed on the world. With a new record set to come out on July 8th via Sappy Future Ltd., Weird Lines mix the sound of nostalgia with the sound of wondering what’s around the corner, Weird Lines are the band you and I need right now.

ADRIAN TEACHER AND THE SUBS:
Whether it was fronting COOL TV or Apollo Ghosts, Adrian Teacher wows every time he performs. Along with Amanda Panda (drums) and British Robbie (Bass), Adrian Teacher and the Subs return to Guelph, triumphantly we say, with a shiny debut record in tow called “Terminal City”. One in a million. One in 2 million. Adrian Teacher and the Subs.

COLD ON PLUTO:
Cold on Pluto is the brainchild of Rigel Rozanski. A few of us at Kazoo! were lucky enough to see his unique breed of smart, spacey and affecting pop songs a few months back and we knew we had to have him do a show with us. Please welcome the new kid on the block — we’re lucky to have him on said block.

Kazoo! #235: Sunday July 17th @ eBar – All Ages/Licensed – Doors 9:30pm – $10
