Launch Party! Crony Pass! Maylee Todd!

Kazoo! fest 2011
It’s been a busy week and we’ve got a few very exciting updates to share with you:

This evening we’re launching our Kazoo! fest print programs at a co-presented event with KYEO tonight, Thursday March 24th at the Peter Elkas residency. We’ll also be giving away a free Crony Pass (all access pass – valued at $45), but you have to be at the show to win the contest. More details about the show tonight can be found here.

A limited number of Crony Passes (our all access Kazoo! fest pass) will be on sale starting tomorrow morning at the Bookshelf (41 Quebec St) in Guelph. We’ll also have advance tickets on sale for the King Cobb Steelie show starting Friday, details here.

Maylee Todd will not be playing at Kazoo! fest and will be replaced by M.A.G.I.C. (Gordon Brothers Duo set). Instead Maylee and her band will be playing a FREE SHOW co-presented by Kazoo! fest next Wednesday March 30th at the University of Guelph as part of the CSA Noon Hour Concert series. Kazoo! fest volunteers will be there to hand out some print programs and sell Crony Passes.

And that same night, Wed. March 30th, we’ll be co-presenting Bob Wiseman‘s new one man multimedia play Actionable! as part of Musagetes 1mile2 project. This event is also entirely FREE and features a lecture by renowned artist Mary Mattingly. More details about this here.

Exciting times!
