Girls Rock Camp

Girls Rock Camp Guelph

Thanks to everyone who helped support the first Girls Rock Camp Guelph in March 2016. Another edition of Girls Rock Camp Guelph is being planned for March 2017. For more information or to get involved, contact Steph Yates at girlsrockguelph@gmail.com. Thanks!

In partnership with the Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition and Kazoo! Fest, Girls Rock Camp Guelph will offer local female, trans, and gender nonconforming youth aged 10 – 13 a safe, supportive, and fun space to learn from experienced musicians, work towards a shared goal with a group of their peers, experiment musically, develop confidence, and play in a rock band for the first time! Girls Rock Camp believe that introducing a Girls Rock Camp to Guelph will impact the next generation of Guelph’s creative community in a way that addresses the gender disparity in our thriving, but predominantly male, rock music scene.

We acknowledge (and appreciate) that funding was received for this program from The Guelph Community Foundation and The Oak Tree Project.
