Pantayo is an all-women kulintang ensemble based in Toronto. Their music is grounded in the traditions of Maguindanaoan & T’boli peoples, but explores the possibility of kulintang influenced by their identities as Diasporic Filipinas. With their rhythmic and trance-inducing vibes, what Pantayo makes is truly awe inspiring, and will impress anyone from a casual observer to a deep listener. We can’t think of a more perfect artist to close out Kazoo! Fest 2019.
