Kazoo! #240: DIANA / Bernice – Nov 11th @ eBar
DIANA
Toronto’s breezy synth-pop outfit DIANA is back with their much-anticipated second album, Familiar Touch. We loved the last one – and this one is even better. Thoughtful while seemingly effortless, DIANA are one of the best bands Toronto has to offer. We are thrilled to welcome Joseph Shabason, Kieran Adams, and Carmen Elle back to Guelph.
BERNICE
Led by singer Robin Dann’s beautiful and intricate vocal melodies, and featuring some of Toronto’s best players (Thom Gill, Colin Fisher, Dan Fortin, Felicity Williams and Phil Melanson), Toronto’s Bernice is imbued with a sense of experimentalism and wonder. Simply put, there’s something deeply affecting and infectious about Bernice’s songs. Never has so much skill, passion, and thought been contained within something so delicate.
